With repression on the rise in the United States especially in areas like the Pacific Northwest, we are realizing every day that we have to prepare ourselves and those around us to resist political repression.

One small thing we can do is to write letters to comrades that are currently behind bars to offer support to them.

Rebel Diaz is a hip hop duo out of the Bronx, New York and Chicago, IL. using their music as an organizing tool and to spread knowledge about injustice.

The trip to Denver was amazing. Join us as a report-back is given on the Conference. There will be food, letter writing, conversation , etc. If you have food to share feel free to bring a dish.

A couple of things you can expect to hear during the report-back.


Topics
- State Repression/Resisting Grand Juries
- Creating a Culture of Resistance in your Area
- Potential Actions/projects involving ABCF Chapters all over North America
- Political Prisoner Support
- Discussion on incorporating these things into the community here in Atlanta

This will hopefully be more of a discussion than an lecture/report-back. The goal is to have anyone interested in these topics in one place to talk about how we can take what was learned and apply it to our Atlanta context. 

The letter writing will still happen at 7pm and this report back will start around 7:30pm

In the Pacific Northwest, following a string of FBI Raids on the homes of activist/radicals, several people received subpoenas to appear before the Grand Jury. Matt was one of them. Matt choose to resist the State’s attempts to divide the community and resisted their witch-hunt.
