Medea Benjamin is a life long human rights and anti war activist. She is the author of a number of books, the latest being "Drone Warfare, Killing By Remote Control". She spoke about the issue of drone proliferation by the United States and other countries in Decatur Ga. on September 17th, 2012. Prior to her public speech at the Decatur Quaker Meeting House, she spoke to Atlanta Independent Media Center about the increased use of killer drones by the U.S. in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia. She also talked about the desire of domestic law enforcement to start flying drones in U.S. airspace. Her message is simple, the time is now to pass laws to ban these new weapons internationally, and to prevent their use at home before there are drones flying in a sky near you. This film runs 34 minutes.
