Struggle for National Democracy

This book by Jose Maria Sison is a historical record of the legal struggle for national liberation and democracy against U.S. imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism in the 60s and early 70s. It was the principal legal study material in discussion groups and schools of national democracy which educated the youth cadres and militants from 1967 through the First Quarter Storm of 1970 to the declaration of martial law in 1972.

This book was the direct precursor of Philippine Society and Revolution. As a matter of fact, the two books were like partners in the education of cadres and mass activists in the course of the First Quarter Storm of 1970.

Homeland Security Caught Monitoring Occupy Atlanta Protests

195 James HodgeOver the past month protesters have noticed strange men hovering around Occupy Atlanta related protests and filming the events. It's not unusual for lots of cameras to be present at these events, but these people stood out. It was very obvious that they were with law enforcement.

One officer in particular had initially refused to identify himself, but after a nod from white-shirt APD officer C.W. Moss he eventually identified himself as James Hodge.

Refugees and migrants are tortured in Greece

Medical treatment and legal aid is required for the victims of tortures (at least three of them are of Kurdish origin; therefore, may very well be prima facie refugees) who are being detained after the raid of the Greek police in Egoumenitsa, Greece on 22 August 2011.

The victim seen in the pictures (an irregular migrant allegedly from Morocco who may also be either a refugee or stateless) was arrested at the hospital where he had gone in order to receive treatment after having been tortured during the aforementioned raid. The wounds inflicted upon him are depicted at six of the photographs provided at the following link of the Athens Indymedia Organisation along with pertinent information (provided in Greek language):
