Karl Helpler: Georgia’s own Old-Time Guitar Guy is a thrilling performer, incredible guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, and talented songwriter who mixes the styles of bluegrass, newgrass, country, folk, americana, and old-time to create his signature style of “New Traditional American Music”.
Kate Shaffer and Corey Coleman have made a musical name for themselves with the robust sounds of the simple setup of two acoustic guitars and two distinct voices. Corey’s exceptional method of hand percussion relies on striking both fretted strings and carefully chosen parts of the guitar with an attack that creates a dose of eclectic flavors. Kate 's extremely wide vocal range allows the duo to offer a wide variety of sound from different genres.
Kevin Spears, KalimbaMan: Considered by many as one of the best kalimba players alive today, Kevin Spears musical gifts have astounded audiences around the world and rewritten what is possible on this exotic musical instrument. Drawing from many musical influences from around the world, Spears' uniquely mixes these styles into a mesmerizing and musical experience all his own. Spears' blinding skill and musical creativity are often compared to innovative legends such as Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix and Les Paul among others and his uncanny ability to play multiple musical and percussive ideas simultaneously in a live setting is iconic, pure and simple.
