WHAT:  “Town Hall Public Meeting”

When:     March 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Where:    Trinity Tabernacle Baptist Church, 592 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Mableton, GA 30126

WHY:  The community members of Cobb County and surrounding counties plan to meet to voice their concerns about what is happening in their communities.  The most compelling issues that plague our communities throughout Georgia are as follows:  Latino & Immigration; Racial Profiling & Law Enforcement Accountability; Prison Industrial Complex & School-to-Prison Pipeline; Public Transportation in Cobb County; Jobs; and Education.

GOAL:  To address the beginning of an intelligent, open and effective dialogue, all Cobb and surrounding county community members and reach for an amiable resolution to current issues that are negatively affecting our communities, counties and community members.

OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN CULTURES AND PROMOTE RACIAL HEALING, UNDERSTANDING AND HEALING WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES, SCHOOLS, CHURCHES WITH OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND ELECTED OFFICIALS!!!
