As I have dropped on Independent Media Centers
in Milwaukee, California, Massachusettes and
Buffalo, New York. Citizen-journalists have it in their
capacity to turn the '08 election around for the
betterment of the community. Mainstream media has
already made endorsements in the race for the White
House: Senator Hillary Clinton of New York for the
Democratic nomination and Senator John McCain for
the Republican ticket. Both candidates, however,
are not within the mission of the IMC---anti-war
and against corporate greed. Both voted for the war
in Iraq, and making efforts to drag the country into
military confrontation with Iran. Last year, Clinton and
McCain voted and had passsed a resolution to label
the Iranian Republican Guards "a terrorist organization".
Senator Obama, another candidate for the top job, was
just elected to the Senate in 2004. His entry is just too
ambitious. Federal lawmakers are required to be in
office for six years, and this is under the U.S.
Constitution. One cannot be for "change", a slogan of
the Obama campaign, when one is going to break the
law of time in office. These legislators are supposed to
be doing their jobs as members of Congress, and that
is making laws, not dancing around wanting to be
